Went to visit the beautiful island of Phuket. In the midst of the vast commercialization of the place, there are still gems of nature, breath taking scenary and friendly people.

Whoa! Who got paid? The bird or the owner? Wed 6-Sep-2006 06:13

A few tips for those of you that wants to visit this city.

1) Bring lots of spare cash - lots of GEMs found in the curio shops along jonker street, as there are not many ATM machines nearby (only OCBC).
2) Saw an interesting boutique hotel (http://www.melaka.net/babahouse/) and will consider staying there the next time.
3) The seafood at the Portuguese settlement is a must.
4) Avoid going to the malls.

Great shots!
Isn't that Restoran Famosa famous for its satay babi?

Had a farewell dinner with the buddies. Good food, good wine and of course great friends.

As the question goes "If a tree were to fall in the deep forest, would anyone have heard it?". I would say "Yes, FRIENDS of the tree would".

I wish I could join you Fri 9-Jun-2006 16:53

Its a small chilli and its very hot. They put it inside the roll to give it a explosion in your mouth. Fri 2-Jun-2006 01:22

Just got back a visit to Cambodia. It is a beautiful country with lots of historical sites. Got to stay in cosy hotels with lots of greenery. The ancient temples reminded me so much of Lara Croft in Tomb Raider.

These are great! Like the "Old Tree" shot. Mon 17-Apr-2006 03:00
